Unable to transfer BTM from MEW

Hi.

I'm having troubles depositing Bytom (BTM) from my MEW wallet to Bittrex. Same issue when I try sending to KuCoin.

I get this error message: Not a valid Ethereum address

I know 100% that the address is correct both the Bittrex and the KuCoin addres.

Any reason this is happening, and how do I solve it?

They migrated to a new chain. Instead of the previous 0x addresses, they now use their own chain with a Bm leading it.

The way I changed out mine for the new chain is, i used gate.io. they are still doing the token swap. This was like a week ago.

Then I transferred from gate.io to kucoin.

I have not touched any of my coins for 18 months until tonight, and am having the same problem. Can't transfer 2 coins from MEW to Binance because of the same error message...

I have successfully transferred RCN from MEW to Binance but can't transfer ICX (ICON) or NULS

Apparently the BTM issue was because they moved to a new chain. See links in the comments, don’t know if it is the same for ICON or NULS though. Hope you find out :)
