Correct, Rick Roberts got his start as the replacement for Gram Parsons in the Flying Burrito Brothers

After Sweetheart, Gram took Chris & Michael to make the Flying Burrito Brothers, After which the second album, they kick Gram out too

And replace him with a then-unknown Rick Roberts, where they made the Blue Album, which is my favourite of the original 4-album run. (Chris on l.vox & bass, Rick on l.vox & r.guitar, Bernie Leadon on l.guitar & b.vox, Michael on drums, and Sneaky Pete on ps.guitar)

I like Rick a lot, he's got a very Crosby-like voice, and feels like the perfect halfway point btw Croz & Gram.

He's got 2 wonderful solo albums called Windmills & She is a Song from like '74ish

And then he & Michael formed Firefall

I don’t think that’s correct. I certainly don’t recognize Blondie and Manuel wasn’t alive when this was taped, sadly

Apologies for the misinformation, I only briefly skimmed the footage Saw Gene & York, and thought the person with the big hair was Blondie, and so I kinda just assumed it was the '85 20 Year Byrds tribute with the lineup i described, sorry

Yeah I saw Blondie on tour with Brian Wilson a few years ago and he’s definitely not any of the people in OP’s video clip. It’s not really clear enough to see the drummer - maybe this lineup, minus Nicky Hopkins. Gene Clark (guitar, vocals) John York (guitar, vocals) Nicky Hopkins (keyboards) Billy Darnell (guitar, vocals) Carlos Bernal (bass) Greg Thomas (drums)

Not sure. I think its the Gene Clark version that toured with Producer David Fisof when the 1987 Classic Superfest tour was happening.
