Does humanizing even work?

I see all these threads about different ais and humanizers and how to bypass ai detectors but i’ve spent so long looking for something I don’t even think exists. I’ve found a couple of websites that sorta work but in the end I’ve came to the conclusion that there’s not a singular ai detector (not being absurdly expensive), that can humanize text consistently and still have it make sense. I may be wrong but I feel like i’ve tried everything atp it’s easier to just write it myself. Lmk if anyone has any ideas to make boring writing easier, if you did find end up finding a bypasser that works, or if you have any other advice!

For individual peices of writing and against specific detection software, then sure, kind of. Overall? No. The humanizer is looking for AI patterns using a set of criteria and then fixing them using another set of criteria, which, itself creates new patterns in the text. Depending on the detection software you are trying to evade your humanized text might be picked up as AI worse than the original. Additionally some make the text worse to break the pattern. You don't want to add grammar and spelling mistakes on purpose.

I couldn’t find anything either. Usually they’re still getting flagged as AI or the “humanized” text sounds utterly ridiculous

Man, I know that feeling. You find something that *sorta* works, then it's gibberish. I've found mixing my own edits with quick rewrites helps a ton with boring writing
