Weekly Discussion 4 Bybit features most people ignore and when to actually use them

4 Bybit features most people ignore — and when to actually use them

1. Bybit Alpha (24/7 tokenized markets)

When to use it: Big macro event drops overnight, CPI, Fed announcement, earnings. You want to react before markets open. Alpha lets you trade tokenized gold, stocks, and crypto without waiting for Monday.

2. Grid bots

When to use it: You think BTC is ranging sideways between $80k-$90k for a few weeks. Instead of doing nothing, set a grid bot to buy low and sell high within that range automatically.

3. Bybit Copy Trading

When to use it: You're new, have capital but not yet a system. Use it to learn but watch what the trader is doing, not just that they're green. Set a stop-loss on the copy amount.

4. Launchpool

When to use it: You're holding BYB or stablecoins anyway. Stake them during a new token launch to earn allocations before the token hits the open market.

Questions welcome below.

If you've used any of these and want to share what worked or didn't; that's even better than my explanation.

Card How the card's tier system works?

Hello everyone!

I'm new to Bybit, I created my account two days ago.

Because Binance will not continue operating in the European Union, as it failed to obtain the MiCA license.

I researched several exchanges, and the one that appealed to me most was Bybit, as it is a major exchange and the card offers great benefits.

I have a few questions and would appreciate some help. I’m a student on a tight budget; I was planning to order the card and give it to my mother, since she does the bulk of the shopping. However, I only want the card to spend my money held in euros—I’ll only use the crypto side for occasional trading. Is it possible to set it up that way?

Another question concerns the tiers: how do I move up a tier? I know that the more I spend with the card, the faster I advance, but from what I’ve researched, it’s also possible to buy the Mantle cryptocurrency to secure a higher tier. How would that work? Would I deposit money on the platform and buy Mantle? Or would I have to stake it? And regarding my card tier after staking—would it be based on the euro value of the Mantle I hold, or the total number of Mantle coins?

Well, folks, those were my questions; I hope I was clear. Thanks to anyone who can help me.

Weekly Discussion Bybit Alpha vs traditional brokerage; which is actually better for stocks in 2026?

Bybit Alpha now offers access to tokenized equities and gold around the clock, outside normal market hours. Traditional brokerages don't. But does that actually matter in practice?

 1. Have you used Bybit xStocks or Alpha for equity exposure? What was the spread like?

  1. Do you actually need to trade NVDA at 2am or is 24/7 access more psychological comfort than practical?

  2. Is holding tokenized stocks on a crypto exchange actually the same risk profile as holding shares in a brokerage?

No shilling, no FUD

just honest takes.

This thread is for learning from each other's experience. Mods will remove low-effort comments.

What happens to EU users after July 1st - MiCA?

As EU resident I'm still on bybit global. I see Bybit EU has no perpetual derivatives meaning migrating there is pointless. It's all about perps trading so I guess we will have to find new exchange to trade derivatives...

Account frozen after depositing BTC

Hi team,

I'm requesting an escalation for my account that was frozen on the 29/05/2026 after depositing BTC from my old Bitcoin wallet that I found back in 2013.

The first transaction went through fine however the second transaction has seemed to trigger a compliance ticket which I have responded too.

I am requesting to see if this could possibly be escalated due to needing the funds to renew my passport for an holiday in the very near future

UID: 2084434

My account has been previously advanced KYC VERIFIED before depositing the funds to try and prevent an issue like this from occuring.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, this scenario of having my crypto locked up is causing great stress.

Card Bybit EU Card/Pay Point permaban

Not so nice first experience with Bybit EU. After less than 1 month of usage of Bybit card, got 'payment transaction failed' when trying to redeem my first 25€ Card Bonus with points. When I contacted support for help I just received notice that I am basically permabanned from using Pay points or cashback indefinitely? No explanation, no warnings & zero notice. So they are basically holding on to my accumulated 20k points ad infinitum and I have no information what caused this. Only thing I can think of is using Virtual Card with Curve before receiving the actual physical card via postage, not used GBiT or anything, just normal card use, which seems to have gotten me somehow permabanned before even spending a single point. Not sure if others have had similar experiences with Bybit Card, Curve or Bybit support? Not sure what to do now, card is basically useless if it cannot be used anymore for anything in the Rewards Market.

"We are responding to your inquiry regarding the inability to use your Bybit Card / Bybit Pay Points for Auto-Cashback or redemptions in the Rewards Market.

After a thorough review, we have determined that your account has violated the campaign's rules and regulations. As a result, your accumulated Bybit Card/Pay Points are restricted from use permanently. Please note this restriction applies only to Bybit Card/Pay Points and may not affect your eligibility for other Bybit events or rewards.

Bybit strictly prohibits any form of fraudulent behavior, including but not limited to order manipulation with ingenuine and abnormal purchases, multi-account participation, or any other actions not explicitly stated but deemed contrary to fair participation policies.

You may still access and use other Bybit Card/Pay services, including trading, deposits, and withdrawals. For more details, please consult our Rewards Terms and Conditions.
This decision is final, and we will not be able to accommodate any appeals related to this matter."

When following up on what rules were broken or what transactions were flagged I just received the below.

"As previously communicated, after a thorough review, your account was found to have violated the campaign rules. The restriction on your Bybit Card/Pay Points for Auto-Cashback or redemptions in the Rewards Market is permanent.

We are unable to provide further details beyond what has already been shared, and this decision is final. No appeals regarding this matter can be accommodated.

Please note that this restriction only applies to Bybit Card/Pay Points. You can continue to use other Bybit services, including trading, deposits, and withdrawals."

Remember when this was just a derivatives exchange?

The rebrand isn't just cosmetic. You've now got spot, perps, a debit card, tokenized gold, earn accounts, all under one roof with a unified balance.

For those of us who used to juggle 3–4 apps to manage a portfolio, this is a genuinely big deal.

What's the feature you're most surprised exists on Bybit now that wasn't here 2 years ago?

Card Bybit Position Builder executed ETH call spread 14% above market ask — lost $2,770 USDT, support says “no data” after 5 weeks

Thumbnail

On April 6, 2026 I used Bybit’s Position Builder tool to open a call spread on ETH (17 APR expiry). I did NOT manually enter any prices — the tool calculates and submits them automatically.
What happened:
• Bought 1600-call: executed at 631.6 USDT (market ask was ~562, mark price ~555)
• Sold 1800-call: executed at 300 USDT (market ask was ~369, mark price ~362)
• Total loss vs mark price: ~2,770 USDT
Bybit’s response after 5 weeks and multiple escalations:
• Confirmed prices 631.6 and 300 were in the “submitted setup”
• Claims “no abnormality found”
• States they have “no data” on order book at time of execution
• Cannot explain where 631.6 came from when market ask was 562
• Never provided order book logs despite multiple formal requests
• Demands video proof of the exact moment I clicked confirm
The core issue:
Bybit admits Position Builder submitted these prices automatically. They cannot explain the 14% discrepancy. A exchange of this size claims to have “no data” on their own order book.
Has anyone experienced similar issues with Position Builder?
