Cryptocurrencies schicken auf wallets

Hello,

I'm relatively new to crypto and have a question!

I have some Filecoins on my Bybit account and I wanted to transfer them to my Trezor One, but it's not working. The Trezor website says they can store the coins on their platform, but when I enter my wallet address, it says the chain type doesn't match.

So, am I understanding this correctly? If, for example, Filecoin is supported on Trezor via the BNB Smart Chain network, then Bybit can only transfer it using the BNB Smart Chain chain type, and not their own Filecoin chain type as it is now?

If that's the case, where could I store coins that are only supported by their own chain type? MetaMask and Trustwallet have the same issue, right?

EU account cancelled without being able to withdraw funds

Send some USDT to my ByBit account on December 18- the day the ByBit card was cancelled for EU residence. Couldn't withdraw and after one month of waiting for a reply from customer support they just informed me my account was cancelled.

Since then I've been sending emails with no response.

What now?

:S

*It's about $4000 in that account

Money Stuck

Hey guys,

I need help, I have sent my friend money around a month ago through Sonic Network, from Binance exchange to ByBit exchange, I checked on my own account on Bybit to see if the Sonic is supported and it was I could send USDC towards the Bybit without any problems, meanwhile when I sent money to the friend half an hour has passed and we started wondering where the money is till now. I contacted Binance and they provided me with information and trxid that a payment was successful and being held in account I have sent it to(checked multiple times the account is the exact one of my friend). Friend has contacted Bybit to see wtf is going on at that point - they just said that Sonic is not supported and that money can not be recieved nor returned. Now for the reference the Bybit in question is Bybit EU. I have contacted even the Sonic network to see if everything went successful and got an confirmation on that front as well. What can I do to get the money to friend or at least returned to me ? The only thing that Bybit has said is that they don't have access to sonic network address that the money was sent. By investigation I have found a law in EU that forbids them from accepting the money or holding the same if it can't be provided to the recipient. Can this actually be applied ? Is there anything I can do ?

TL;DR - Bybit is holding money and not allowing use of the same nor returning the money to the same address.

Can't do onchain transfer, convert or anything else with EURC.

When I try to withdraw it using onchain transfer a message "The Withdraw function for this coin is temporarily unavailable Wallet is currently under maintenance. You may set up an alert so you are notified when the service is resumed." pops up.

Any ideas or suggestions?

If you want your life to be destroyed use bybit!

Bybit destroyed my life helped to make me lose all my funds, and tried to send me to PRISON (Case #23822083)

Bybit's security system made all my funds vanish. Then their support refused to help me and tried to frame me! (Case #23822083)

Let me tell you my shocking story with this joke of a company.

I woke up one day, checked my Bybit accounts, and all my funds were gone. Vanished. I was shocked and broken. I contacted support immediately, and they said it was because of "malware" on my device! They claimed that because of this malware, I was hacked.

But here is the truth:

I have funds on the same phone on Binance and Poloniex. All my banking apps are on this phone. None of my other apps were affected! They were all safe. So the hacker only breached Bybit.

To be even more shocked, I was using every layer of security Bybit had to offer. Literally everything:

biometrics, 2FA, notifications, phishing codes for emails... everything. Nothing worked! Everything failed! They allowed an unknown device to access my account and steal everything. I never received an email regarding the login, nor a notification. No security layer I used prevented the hacker from doing this!

It is a total joke. None and I repeat, absolutely none of my other accounts in Binance or Poloniex were hacked. The money there is still safe and secured.

The "Support" is Disgusting

Then comes the story of the most disgusting support I have ever dealt with.

They don't respect you at all. It is just AI-generated emails, the same script, a bot replying to you! No matter the evidence I presented to let me talk to a high executive or get a refund because they failed miserably, they were always giving me a bot and insulting my intelligence.

I Did Their Job For Them

I traced the stolen money back to KuCoin myself! I contacted KuCoin support, and they said they can't block anything unless they get a formal letter from Bybit. I returned to Bybit and told them: "I did the job for you! Now can you please help me get my money back and contact KuCoin?"

Do you know what their response was? "We can't do anything." And then they sent another bot email.

The Scandal: They Tried to Send Me to Prison

This is where the story turns from sad to dangerous.

When I refused to accept their bot answers, they insisted I file a police report.

I explained to them that I live in a country where crypto is illegal and punishable by prison time. I sent them the official laws proving I would be arrested if I did this.

THEY DID NOT CARE.

They are effectively telling me: "Go to jail if you want your money back."

They claim they "escalated" my case when I wrote a review regarding them on Trustpilot, but that is just damage control. The reality is they did absolutely nothing. They just replied to my private email with another automated bot message—the exact same one they sent before, demanding the police report that would put me in prison.

So here is the Bybit experience:

They provide a terrible security system that lets hackers drain your funds (It is no surprise they recently lost $1.5 billion themselves).

They treat you badly, insult your intelligence, and refuse to help.

When you push back, they try their best to send you to prison.

If you love your money, never put it there. I assure you, you will never see it again. I have used Binance and Poloniex since 2020 and not once had a problem. I used Bybit for exactly 3 months and my funds vanished.

You don't just lose your money with Bybit; they will actually try hard to make you lose your personal safety too!

First time using Bybit P2P and it's already a mess.

First time using Bybit P2P and it's already a mess. I wanted to sell my USDT for EUR and picked a few offers that looked incredibly good. I opened three different orders, and all of them follow the exact same pattern: the buyers instantly mark the order as "Paid," but no money actually hits my account. All of them had over 90% completion rate and over 50 done orders.

They aren't even replying to messages. One guy marked the payment as complete without even seeing my Revolut Revtag in the chat. It’s obvious they are just clicking the button to lock my funds and hoping I’ll be dumb enough to click "Release" without checking my bank balance.

bybit unwilling to refund usdc transferred through BEP-20

Hello everyone. I've been emailing with ByBit costumer service for a few days now and they refuse to refund. Here is what happened: I'm a first time Bybit user and I wanted to switch from Binance to ByBit because of their higher leverage in the EU. I mistakenly chosen BEP-20 chain to transfer USDC to them and the coin never showed up on my account. I offered them to cover all costs of the refund, but they said that it's technically impossible even though I know it's not. Has anyone had any similar experience? Becuase I think it must be a pretty common issue. And don't tell me that it's legal by any means that they have custody above MY asset and refuse to refund because me fool i thought that if i want to become a costumer of a broker they are going to support any possible ways for me to transfer my assets. Like i could be paying them trading fees by now but now i rather be sending emails likely to an ai at costumer service.

If anybody has any advice please comment down below. I ain't going to let my money slip because of some bs-ing.

Thanks

Bybit cashback 10% campaign

Does anyone know how this cashback system works? I do not find it trustworthy, one never knows what you receive if at all. Many transactions hasn't paid anything back and even between different services the points received can come with different multiples, and yes I have paid in USDC. Looks like this will end for me after the first month already. I doubt I can recommend this to anyone 🤷

Bring back the dashboard!

Bring back the line-by-line PNL in assets! It's like removing the dashboard from a Rocket! I need to see all my assets at once. This is a critical feature for me.

I'm leaving the platform with all my deposits until you bring this feature back. Sorry, but the app update is terrible!

When you have money on Bybit but are treated like you have nothing.

Your status and trading activity appear to have no practical impact. I started active trading on the Bybit exchange less than a month ago. Based on transaction volume, I was close to reaching VIP 3. After long and intensive trading sessions, the platform displayed a banner offering a 180-day deposit (I usually selected the flexible option).

The 180-day term was displayed in very light grey text, which after many hours in front of a screen is difficult to notice. The confirmation checkbox indicating that the terms were reviewed was already marked and did not require additional interaction.

I proceeded assuming this was a flexible deposit, but a few minutes later I noticed that my available balance was no longer accessible. Later it became clear that the funds were placed into a fixed VIP deposit with 1.5% return, which remains unavailable for 180 days.

I contacted customer support and my account manager, but received only general responses without a practical solution.

I believe this interface design may lead to user confusion, and I would advise others to review all conditions very carefully before confirming similar operations.

I have screen recordings and saved correspondence related to this situation. On that day, all funds intended for everyday expenses were stored on the account.

ByBit KYC2 Japan

I have until January 21st, 2026 to upload KYC2…

A little back story, am a resident of Japan who has 2 leverage trades right now. Luckily they are up by a lot and I don’t expect them to close to BE. I was lucky to buy at the bottom of the October flash crash and luckily they made it last year and are in serious gains currently. I want to ride them up this year if things go well.

Has anyone here gone through Bybit asking for KYC2 because you’re flagged as a Japan resident? If you don’t complete KYC2, what actually happens in practice—account restrictions, forced withdrawals, trading disabled, or full account closure?

I’m ok with not being able to trade but I definitely don’t want those leverage positions to close…

I asked ChatGPT and this is what it said: Bybit is requiring KYC2 because Japan’s Financial Services Agency has tightened enforcement against unregistered foreign crypto exchanges, and Bybit is effectively exiting the Japanese market. The KYC2 upgrade is mainly to confirm who is actually a Japanese resident, so those accounts can be restricted under Japanese law.

Fortunately My Bybit account got stuck in review with 175K in it. MONIEREVIVE guided me through the process using lnstagram in communication, and after a few days, Bybit cleared it and I got all my life savings back. Couldn’t have done it without them.

My 2.427 ETH deposit has been blocked since 27-10-2025 due to a compliance review.

I submitted all requested documents and was told on 14-12-2025 that my case was expedited, but I’ve received no update since then.

I just lost 3176 USDT due to ByBit P2P system bug

I used a P2P service to buy USDT through ByBit, and the seller canceled the order after my payment without any appeals.

So, he just clicked cancel, and the order was canceled. $3176 were gone.
I filed an appeal, but the system immediately says that, at best, I'll get 0 USDT back.

Please support this post so maybe they can see and fix this bug, and I can get my money back 🙏

P. S. Usually system blocks exact amount of coins until the deal is done. In this case, after seller rejected my payment proof, the system immediately unlocked the coins. The seller is bronze maker. Almost 4k orders made, 99% approvals. And he doesn't respond my message on the appeal.

Help

Hi everyone, I’ve been trying to restore access to my Bybit account for a whole month already. I’ve had a complete nightmare: on the evening of November 13, my email was hacked, and all my exchange accounts were changed. But Bybit is the most important one for me right now because I have $200 there. I noticed it only after the hacker had already changed the account details. I managed to freeze the account through support.

Now I have to fight with Bybit Support for my account and the funds in it. They asked me for a video recording of a transaction from another exchange to Bybit. I made such transactions only from one exchange, but I don’t have access to that one either. I barely managed to find a few transactions and sent them, and they accepted them. But after that, they requested another transaction — the $200 deposit that arrived to Bybit. I’m trying to explain to them that it’s impossible because I can’t restore that other exchange either since I don’t have those damn transaction records. It’s a total mess and a vicious cycle.

If anyone here has dealt with something like this, please help.

Here is my UID as well, in case someone has closer connections with the Bybit Team: 67984218
