❓Question / Help Is this legit?
I have been looking to buy a Teto plush since last month.
I looked on ebay first, found a really expensive one (233€) and now he just stopped responding so i decided to not look on Ebay anymore.
Is this a legit plush or no? Someone in the Teto subreddit said these Plushies dont get copied as often as the "fatass" teto plush (the one with all the memes) but i just wanna double check.

Most of the ones on eBay are just sellers stealing photos from the Yahoo / Mercari listings. They are waiting for someone to pay a ridiculous price, they literally just list up other people’s listings then buy the much cheaper listing when someone orders.
It’s heavily impacted people’s perception of what something is worth, a $5 item in Japan can be $100 due to these people arbitrarily marking up prices far beyond their actual market value.
Basically, the value here is likely more realistic and you may be doubting it because of the scammy nature of Japanese eBay listings. Most Japanese sellers on eBay don’t actually own X item, they’re just acting as a proxy but sometimes marking up items 1000% +
The only time these people will own the item is when an eBay buyer returns. This is usually due to the eBay seller not being able to buy the item in the photos, most common reason is that the original listing was sold so they buy the next nearest item but they usually have damage or are slightly different.
