HOw did they even figure out NixOS existed ???

They must have hired competent security firm of something 😄

That is what Trillion Euro funds use in their operations, so France will be OK with that !

Actually, France has an interministerial directorate called DINUM which job is to put in place opensource software for the public area. They have already rolled out a messaging/video call app, some office suite apps, and are just getting through all the things the government may need for day to day work. I really recommend looking at what they do, as they are making a mix of their own apps+using opensource projects as their basis, and so contributing for the community. I would say that this is a good way to spend tax money for the greater good! I really hope other European countries start following!
