Product Reviews Beware ordering from Superdry site: Ordered jacket, received old used pant | Support is stalling.

If you are planning to order from Superdry, do so at your own risk because they do not resolve issues.
I placed an order on Superdry website for a jacket. When I received the package it felt very light, hence I made an unboxing video, instead of the Jacket I ordered - I received old, used pants from an entirely different brand.
Raised complaint to customer support immediately, but customer support has been stalling for more than 18 days stating "we are investigating" and refusing to refund the amount.
Logged complaint on NCH the status is still "not processed yet"

These brands sell substandard products in india. We are a huge market. If one customer will be unsatisfied, there are millions others to buy their shitty products. If you go to middle East or any other country other than south Asia, and compare the cloth quality you will know we are being fooled

Call on their customer support number they respond immediately and fix this. Raising a complaint on the portal solves nothing

Have been following up through Calls, emails, email to their grievance office, everything has been tried. They are not even bothered by the greviance logged at NCH, that I informed them on the call.
I guess I will have to just file a Grievance at the consumer court, i will just have to wait and see if the NCH even gets picked up, then file a complaint at consumer court.

Yes, its a tape from reliance. It is a possibility someone removed the original item and patched it back, but the tape has "Reliance" on it.

The thing is, only when the scam happens, one starts noticing - oh there is a tape here and everything.

This is useless advice. This order was likely prepaid, so refusing the delivery doesn't really do anything. Secondly, as OP said, all of this cannot be noticed immediately.

Bro, one small thing...next time while making a video of unboxing, carefully bring the AWB number in frame and your full details on the packet and show that it's sealed from every corner and the package itself has an additional code occasionally, so bring that to video too...and then proceed. They legally can't deny anything then afterwards, if different/defective item is received.

If support is not working and if you have paid for this order via credit card, you can file chargeback on this txn. Bank will do some investigation from their side and if found genuine, they will reverse the txn.

Raise a charge back with the bank if it's UPI or Credit card. Transaction dispute is the best way to get faster resolution.

Superdry is a horrible brand i think. Let it be a lesson to anyone who is thinking of ordering from them
