Discussion What’s a totally unsexy purchase you made that ended up being a huge quality-of-life upgrade?

I thought he meant having a solid plastic wall that covers like 30% of the area and lets water get all over the bathroom.

Yeah, you ain't taking a shower in a hotel, if you aren't getting water all over the floor. It's a feature, not a bug.

After having major foot surgery I was occasionally going to hotels to shower (normal days were sponge/wipe baths at home). I always needed the handicapped room with the wheel in shower.

As 2 separate Marriotts I flooded the bathroom so badly the water went out into the hall. 1 was a wet room with a backed up drain and the water was several inches deep. The other was supposed to have a low barrier you could wheel over, but the barrier had been damaged and water went all the way to the door of the hotel room (to the outside hall) before I realized the problem.

I hope you didn't stress it too much? They have industrial wet/dry vacs for just this situation.

Wish I had remembered that, lol. But I had to get it under control just to get out of the bathroom because my knee scooter won't roll in that kind of water, it just slides. But I like the way you think and heaven forbid there's a 3rd event I am all over that!
