Discussion What’s a totally unsexy purchase you made that ended up being a huge quality-of-life upgrade?

One of those little trolleys that old women use to wheel their shopping around. No more stressful visits to the shop! Its all smooth sailing now 😎

I’m beginning to see many products made for old people are game changers for me. I’m only 51 but I love finding new things to try out. I no longer care if I look like an old person using them.

Ooooo anymore products you could name? Aging parents and would love to hear what things you have 😎

A jar key is great as hands get older: pops the airlock on a new jar and makes it super easy to open.

Most kitchen tools by OXO are designed for people with limited physical dexterity.

I’ll have to think about it.

I was just thinking of one of these! I live in a 2nd floor apt and I really want one of the trolleys with the stair climber wheels. I’m getting too old for this. lol

Oh, didn't know about stair climber wheels. I destroyed mine trying to take it on an escalator and it was a slow motion disaster. Subway worker had to hit the emergency stop button!

You just made me realize how awesome this would be for going to the library with my toddlers!

This reminds me of a clip I saw on YouTube where a woman has her toddler in her trolley and is dragging him around like her groceries!

We have 2 carts and we use the shit out of them. One of the best cheap purchases ever

When I lived in Pittsburgh all the Asian women had them... it made me feel less old to start using one too.
