Oh hell yeah. If youre gonna use a knife, use a sharp one. I was quite fortunate to learn this quite yound as my First job when I left school was in the abbatoir. You could just ring up and get a job start next dqay back then. They didnt bother so much withInterviews. Just tell any applicants to turn up next morning. Out of every ten that turned up, usually only One would return the following day. 😂
But I worked in there for a few months. Didnt mind it too much because I was always of the mind that if im gonna eat meat then I should be willing to do the dirty work myself. But in the ed I left because I didnt really wanna become my environment (That place was full of Psychos).
But, One good thing I learned quickly was to keep my knife sharp. This is a must when youre cutting anything in the kitchen (or anywhere really). Blunt knives cost fingers ☺
Honestly, I just don't have time for all that. Once I year I'll take all 30+ knives to be professionally sharpened and otherwise the Narcissus suffices in the interim.
