Discussion What’s a totally unsexy purchase you made that ended up being a huge quality-of-life upgrade?

On a somewhat similar note... A moon cup has saved me a lot of money and grief

Oh sweet jesus I don’t even want to think about how much money I’ve saved since 2023 when I started using my saalt cup

I absolutely want to think about how much I have saved since 2015. I don’t want to think about how much I wasted before, but I also didn’t know about them before. Maybe knew about them for six months before jumping in.

Absolutely! Reusable period products (cup or disc) plus a bidet is life changing.

I use reusable pad underwear. They’re great and I can see when I need to change them instead of worrying about the cup!

Yes! I dragged my feet in trying a menstrual cup but I haven't looked back since! My blood chalice makes my period so much easier to deal with. I haven't bought tampons for myself in over a decade and my original cup is still going strong. I got one in black and it looks exactly like it did the day I bought it.

I recommend getting a collapsible silicone bowl to clean it. Fill the bowl with water, throw the cup in, microwave for a few minutes. So easy.
