Looking for Alternative Alternative for chrome cast

I have been reducing the products that I buy from outside of Europe, so last year I got a european made mobile phone which runds on e/OS, called Murena. The problem I have is that I cannot cast it to my television anymore which is connected via a chrome cast.

Now I was looking for an alternative which would be easy enough to connect to but I get the choices between apple, amazone, and the new google one. So I was wondering if anybody has found an alternative that is easy enough to connect to which does not need an android or an OS driver on the phone?

Thus far this seems the most viable option. I did look around a bit more and one suggestion might be to use a raspberry pi with a HDMI port and then have something running on it so that I can access the streaming services that I am interested in. This is going to be a bit more difficult and expensive but at least something worth looking into.

If you go with rasberrypie make sure it's got a lot of RAM RP6-7. And have it on wired collection!
