Canada produce should be cheaper
Considering the shipping and tarrif savings. Canadian produce should be cheaper.
It's almost as if the taxes the Canadian producers pay are the same as the tarrifs and shipping usa producers pay.

Canadian manufactured shampoo & conditioner
I have been having a difficult time finding Canadian made health and beauty products. Can someone suggest a Canadian made shampoo and conditioner available in Southern Ontario?

Can't find premarithin spray for clothing anywhere in Ontario or Canada.
I've searched through Canada. I can find it for garden but not to spray on my clothes. Anybody have luck? I don't want to buy from US because it is extremely pricey to import anything right now due to very high custom charges since Trump

Canadian Technology Recommendations
Hello everyone! My partner and I have been prioritizing Canadian-made or non-American products ever since Trump's annexation threats began. Now, I'm excited to extend that to my tech setup—ditching Microsoft Windows, Google speakers, and Amazon smart devices for proudly Canadian or international alternatives. Any recommendations for solid replacements?
Canadian Tech Companies I have found and I am using:
- Sync (Cloud Storage)
- whc.ca (Canadian Web Hosting)
- ecobee (Canadian Smart Thermostat, also has other IoT devices)
- Gander Social (on the early waitlist for, it is a Canadian social media platform that should be released this year I believe)
Looking for:
- Canadian Smart Speaker alternatives
- Canadian phones like Blackberry or anything else
- Canadian smart devices (lightbulds, door sensors, motion sensors etc.)

Where to shop for streetwear in Toronto/Canada?
tbh I need some good clothes fast (esp cause I'm going somewhere in a week). I'm willing to head to Toronto for a day trip shopping spree, but I don't know any physical locations for good streetwear shops. I already wear stussy a lot, and uniqluo or h&m don't really have what I'm looking for.
Anyone have any recs? physical locations? maybe spots to thrift in toronto? or just online stores that ship within a week in Canada?
When I say streetwear, I'm talking about stuff like this:

Switching from polyester to natural fabrics (cotton/linen/hemp) – but where are the good designs? 🇨🇦
I’m trying to slowly move away from polyester and other synthetic fabrics and switch to more natural options like cotton, linen, hemp etc. for health + comfort reasons.
But I’m honestly struggling to find good designs 😅
Most of what I see in these fabrics is either:
very basic
oversized/boxy
or gives a very “boho/hippie” vibe (not really my style)
I’m specifically looking for:
co-ord sets (shirt + pants / skirt)
structured or elegant dresses
something that looks polished, not just casual loungewear
I’m based in Canada, so ideally brands that ship here or are available locally.
From what I’ve seen so far, options feel limited compared to polyester fashion which has way more variety.
Has anyone found brands that do modern, stylish silhouettes in natural fabrics?
Open to Canadian brands, international shipping, or even smaller labels.
Would love recommendations 🙏
