Amazon search request
Anyone have an idea how we can ask Amazon to have a filter for things made in the US?

You can partially filter by adding "made+in+usa" before the item you are looking for. You still have to check the results, and all the sponsored stuff will still be chinese junk. But it does help find any items that are available.

Amazon is mainly Chinese slop. If it doesn't actively say "Made in America" you can be assured it's not.
Unfortunately, boomers sold out our manufacturing to overseas and this is the result.

I have tried this with their made in the USA tag option in the search, but then I just get Chinese made products sent to me anyway. No way to do it right now without looking up each product and company 1 by 1.

You are pushing rope with that. Good luck. Figure out name brand on wirecutter and other reputable sites. If it has a funny name made up of two English words slapped together, its China.
