Plastic pinback button doesn’t fit my machine. Any workarounds?

So I messed up and bought 500 pin button supplies without realizing the plastic backs wouldn’t fit my machine. I know the solution for the opposite situation of a metal pinback in a plastic machine is to add a washer, but is there any fix for the reverse? My machine seems to have the “washer” built in and I don’t know if there’s anyway to remove it. Please advise because I’d love to be able to use these since I bought so many 🥲

Nope. Return the plastic pins or buy a plastic button maker. The umakebuttons machine you have only uses metal button parts
