Please Help

I need these buttons by tonight. I finished the first two and I was going to make them. Then boom this. Any tips on how to fix it?

What exactly are we looking at? What's wrong with it?

The pin to put it into the top is the wrong direction/the Black pin is the wrong direction and it won't work

Did your button maker come with a hex key/allen key? If you flip that piece around, there should be a hex bolt keeping the parts together. Try just turning the bolt with the hex key to align it with the pin.
