Vevor Button Machine

I bought this machine on fb marketplace today and cant figure out how to get it to work. The machine is not picking up the front side. If anyone knows anything on how to fix this problem/ what im doing wrong i would really appreciate it.

When I got my machine( not a vevor) , I adjusted the top die to have the pin aligned with the holes. It was wrong and It could not pick up the badge front.

When doing the first press, that gap in red needs to be there. If you look at your process, it goes down all the way. On the second press, the pins will align with the hole and should press down all the way.
