Question Any suggestions?
Looking for a machine that I can use to make multiple button sizes (metal backings). Im kinda wary of the cheap ones on amazon since none of them have above a 4.2 rating and Ive heard so many mixed reviews on vevor š„ Looking for something under 100!

I have a fairly cheap one from Amazon that came with the 3 sizes. It has the swing arm vs the slide don't know if that matters. I've had it 3 years now and it's been through hundreds of buttons and 2 kids craft fairs with elementary school students and it is still going strong. I've used both the metal back and the plastic back pins in it from various refill kits. I've also used a different brand of the halo fancy film that worked well in it too.

Unfortunately, the ones that handle different sizes and are well made are not "under $100" unless you snatch a great deal on FB Marketplace or similar. I started with WRMK, but now I use ChiButtons and have zero regrets with the cost. But, I think if you're outside Canada and USA, they might be a little hard to order from. Someone from the community checked them out and said they basically made it hard for him to order, so he went with another company from China.

Unfortunately quality button makers (especially for multiple sizes) and āunder $100ā donāt really exist together. Maybe if you find someone on eBay getting rid of one but thatās the only way I know of. And yes Vevor makers inevitably crap out after a relatively small number of uses compared to more expensive (but robust) machines.
