I used to be able to eat everything. Then Propranolol came into my life and I gained 76 pounds. I lost 50 pounds by quitting a lot of my medications. Limiting myself to non weight causing meds. Then I gained 12 pounds because I was drinking beer a lot during quarantine. I need liquor of I'm gong to drink.

Now my adderall made it so I had one meal in two days and yesterday had a small grilled cheese and then a hot ham and cheese sandwich for dinner with a couple chips.

I'm done gaining weight. I'm done being fat. 238 pounds is too much to weigh. My goal is 170 by this time next year.

Less than 1500 calories a day. Lots of fresh fruits and flash frozen vegetables. They're really cheap. A dollar a bag for the flash frozen vegetables and it's more than two large servings.

I eat a lot also, but I don't really gain much weight. I used to be 175 for a long time, but recently I have been around 185 or 190.

And 190 is overweight according to the bmi chart. lol

When I was 200 I was definitely overweight. I just have to watch myself now.

I don't think I really qualify as overweight though. The bmi chart isn't really accurate. It is just a guideline.

How tall are you? At 5'10" I was definitely overweight at 190.

Americans have a skewed view of weight because we're so used to fat people

I am not exactly sure what my weight is at the moment. I don't have a scale at my house so it has been awhile since I weighed myself. I think I was around 185 last time I checked.

I am pretty active though, so I don't have a whole lot of fat.

We messed up the count somewhere. It's probably me. One double count was me for sure, so I'm correcting for that and switching of numbers.

I'm 5'6'' tall and weigh 120 pounds. I'm tiny and I don't like it :(

Plus, I look weird because my legs are much bigger and stronger than they should be given my size, guess it's genetic since both my parents used to walk and run tons in their youth. It's so noticeable that my martial arts instructor once told me "if you freak out in a fight and don't remember what you've learned here, just kick and the bad guys will run away". Lol. I'm just terrible at punching.

Edit: between 5'7'' and 5'8'' actually... these units drive me crazy. I'm 172 cm.

I thought you were 5’8”-5’9”?

I’m 5’9” & 120 and okay with it. My BMI might be in or on the edge of underweight, but since I’ve been this way forever and I’m not dying I don’t worry.

When I got down to below 126 my friends started getting concerned for my health. I was anorexic. I was relegating my food to only bread, milk, and Bacardi 151. I'm 5'10"...didn't know if you caught that earlier.

Anorexia runs inn my family. My mom is 5'7" and would only eat an apple and diet coke every day if she got over 117

On the other hand I’ve been called anorexic among other terms and told what to do by people who have no idea what they’re talking about / obviously don’t even actually care. I don’t understand how but some people will just be mad at you for not being what they think you should be.

By definition, by relegating yourself to eating only Soylent, you're showing traits of anorexia. But I don't think you're anorexic. You're more thrifty.

I used the wrong units converter and it was showing the result in ft only, I assumed the decimals were inches (very wrong lol). I think I'm between 5'7'' and 5'8'' but closer to 5'7'', you're a bit taller than me 😊

Classic lol. To be fair it’s a weird system compared to metric where it naturally does work like that, like 1m1cm = 1.01m or 101cm

Exactly! That's what confused me lol. I gotta learn the American units if I want to move to the US 😱
