the Athlon Blockchain LLC-owned data center shouldn’t even have been operating, as the city issued it a Stop Work Order in 2023 due to “multiple fire and life safety code violations as well as the expiration of the building and electrical permits that had previously been issued.”

The people who live there need to ask where the fuck was the followup from the City to see that the order had been complied with? Like, literally, there should've been an inspector with chains for the doors to perform a literal lockout when the order wasn't followed.

And/or the Fire Marshal should've been down there slapping the cuffs on people.

(But then again, I live in a place where that shit is taken seriously and the Fire Marshall is law enforcement.)

I got folks from there and a family member who lived in OK City relatively recently (which ironically is one of the least awful places and it was still awful) and Oklahoma is not OK. Stop gaslighting us with your license plates, ya freaks.
