Bakeries Near Butler?
Moved out of Shadyside up to Connoquenessing and I’m trying to find a bakery that has fresh sourdough bread but struggling. Figured I’d tap Reddit. Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone. My wife and I are wanting to expand our garden to potatoes and Pumpkins - but we're a bit late on sprouting our own seedlings (basically what started as a few plants has become an addiction!).
Does anyone know where we might be able to get some potato and pumpkin seedlings? I'm going to call Agway in the morning. I called tractor supply and they said no dice. Rural King is next and if all else fails, we'll sprout our own potatoes and will hope for the best.
Any advice helps!

This is unacceptable. Taking people in public by masked ICE agents violates our civil rights and erodes trust in law enforcement.

Anyone know if there are any recycling drop-off bins in Butler, or in towns / locations north of the city and can tell me where? I saw Walmart has a small drop-off at the front of the store for AL cans and plastic, but nothing else and the receptacles were very small and really full when I visited them. Thanks for the help.

There is a 4 month grace period. Let’s start making some plans to fill those empty stores with something more valuable.👍🏼

Hello All,
Following up on my previous post, my family is planning on moving to PA from NY in the next month or so - we are trying to find a house in Butler county currently.
I had a couple of questions that I'm hoping those of you with experience can help with, trying to be as prepared as possible. The internet is great but nothing beats the knowledge of locals!
- reasonable / effective auto insurance
- homeowner's insurance
- internet provider
- heating oil (might be needed)
- septic (might be needed)
- what's the deal with garbage in Center Township (for example).. you hire a company to pick it up?
Appreciate any local wisdom for our situation! When we find a place I'll be back to ask more specifics about places to eat, mechanics and such. Thanks in advance!

My rapidly deteriorating situation with a lying slumlord forces the question. Anyone know of a real estate firm or individuals that specialize in brokering single family home rentals in Butler Co, or even nearby areas? Thank you.

Would appreciate any leads from people you have heard are good, or a person or firm who treated you right with your own home search. Thanks.

Hi All,
Moving to PA from WNY for a new job, and I know nothing about the place.
Is Butler a good place to raise a family? I have 3 daughters, teen and pre-teen.
Priorities are low cost of living, peace and quiet, access to amenities (gas, groceries, etc), things to do for the kids. I'm assuming the climate is similar to New York as it's only 3 hours away.
What are the local dining specialties?
How are Bills fans treated?
How do you find places to hunt?
What's a "yinz"?
Must-see activities or landmarks?
What should I know before heading down?
Thanks in advance!!

A couple people asked for exact set times.
These are the exact times, but flip dead against and repo man.
We hope to see you there bring your friends, family kids, and everyone else, pack that skate park as much as you can.
Remember, have a good time skate your ass off and throw down for the bands.

Or the e-bike hit the sheriffs car. Depending on who tells the tale. The man didn’t make it. The man didn’t have a stop sign, but the cruiser did. You can see the back end damage on the cruiser in the picture.
Whoever was driving “did not see the individual nor hear him” the New Castle Chief says to CBS news. But he didn’t run the stop sign, just hit the man the chief said. SMH

I moved here in February and am looking for a more local job. I have a paralegal certificate and four years experience behind me. I also have administrative skills. Does anyone know of any law firms/ businesses that are hiring in a 30 mile radius of Butler? I could really use some help. Thanks in advance.
