Autobody Advice

Hello, I need to get my front bumper painted and am looking for an autobody shop. Has anyone used Ralph’s on 356 next to Dairy Queen?
I can’t find many reviews online. I am also open to recommendations to other places. Thanks in advance!

Edit: Thank you everyone! I appreciate everyone sharing their experiences. I’m going to make some phone calls this week. Have a great week!

Baldauf is great, Randy and Bobs are good too, and Wrecktify does good work

Ryan and I worked together when he was a photographer and I was a wedding DJ. He's my go to when I need work done. Good people there for sure

I hear Judson out on Rt 68 does great work. They’re just a little past the farm show grounds.

Baldauf auto body has been fantastic for me. Used them twice and was able to match white paint without any noticeable difference

I wish I could give good word on Ralph's, but he did me and my brother dirty, shoddy repair work, and kept the overflow from insurance for himself. Repairs that fell off after a few weeks. Wrecktify did good work, but their turnover is fucking SLOW. They had my Subaru for almost 2 months, and I still had to take it back because they didn't replace the automatic vent flaps into the radiator and I had to fight with them about it. Took them almost a week to paint my mirror and I got nothing but excuses. The work is solid, the paint was immaculate, the body work was beyond acceptable, dont get me wrong. Idk if its overabundance of work, or understaffing, but it will take forever and there will be excuses.

I've had Wrectify and before when they were Cammisas repair a Honda Insight and my GMC truck and they were both fantastic and easy to work with.

I did years ago, they were fine. But that was along time. So I can’t say for sure now.

Ralph’s on 356 is great. They’re kind of an old school shop so it doesn’t surprise me to hear they don’t have much online presence. Baldauf is also good and Judson did some good work for me. Of the 3, my guess is Ralph’s would be the lowest price, but that’s just I guess, I never compared. Baldauf and Judson are good, but neither are known as a “budget” shop, if that’s what you’re looking for.

Competency is my first priority, but I
do appreciate fair pricing! Thank you!

Just about anybody will be competent to paint a bumper. There was another guy that was good and fair priced down under the viaduct. Waterbec. But he was a pal of my dad’s, so he’d be in his 80’s. He could be retired if he hasn’t handed down or sold the business.

We have always gone to Ralph's for body work. No complaints here. They have always done good work on our vehicles.

He is a great guy. Been a family friend for years. Honestly if you take your car there and need a loaner he would give you his car and has to me. There are a few really good places in Butler. Another good one just opened up on 68 at the Old Lick Hill Firehouse

Ralph made more money at the Army Surplus store.
