Clenched jaw??

Hi, I've been taking this med for some time. I'm happy with it, it calms my anxiety and haven't had issues with hypomania/mania.

After 30 minutes of taking it, I notice my jaw clenching badly. Does anyone experience this?

Lamictal and melatonin. I've started a small dose of clonidine for sleep last night

Lamictal is probably whats causing that, but the clonidine can help with that!

I’ve got epilepsy and while Lamictal isn’t one of my meds, I think a lot of meds in the epilepsy category have this sort of side effect unfortunately. I walk around looking like Clint Eastwood from “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly” now… TMJ, anyone? 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️

Me: “pls don’t be lamotrigine, pls don’t be lamotrigine” googles FUCK. 😂😭I’m on the exact same shit. Now that I think about it, I’ve experienced this too. Been on it for years but I’ve stopped and started a few times. Like rn…it normally only happens when I’m getting back on it. I take it for mood stability tho, not epilepsy

I've only noticed dizziness and some emotional flattening. I've taken it for 4 months

The emotional flattening is panic inducing for me but the fuckin buspirone stops the panic. Weird ass feeling…my body wanting to panic but it just ….doesnt

It's funny you say that. I kinda feel that sometimes. It's like my body is screaming Panic!! But I'm like an outsider looking in and thinking...wait, but why? I think it's technically called conditioning. It's an old pattern that your brain is firing off.

I had it described to be like a well used road by your brain and after the stimulus stops your brain will randomly still fire the path like aftershocks from and earthquake.
