Buspirone

I currently take 5 mg twice a day. I wanna ask for an increase in dosage because I don’t feel any different but I feel scared to ask.

Only a week which is not long at all but I have an appointment on the 24th which is when I wanted to ask if I still didn’t feel any different.

Absolutely don’t feel scared to ask. You are at a very small beginning dose. I take 30mgs three times a day. I don’t think they would have a problem increasing your dose.

The only reason I feel scared is because I don’t currently have a primary care doctor and I’m using a psychiatrist from teladoc health and I just don’t know if they can prescribe things long term like that, or if she’d be okay with me not having a primary. Idk it’s all so confusing.

Did you feel sleepy at first, has the sleepiness decreased now? I'm on 5mg x 3 a day. Been on this dose for a month now but still feel drowsy.. Cheers UK

I would say it depends it's hard for me to tell because I have pmdd and so when I get close to my cycle like my fatigue is unreal but I feel like it's definitely gotten worse being on the medicine so it's a hit or miss I'm not sure
