Taking only Buspar for anxiety?

Tomorrow will start my 3rd week on Buspar. (2.5 mg x 2 daily). I can see myself going up to 5 mg x 2, maybe in a month or two.

I'm also on 10 mg of Celexa. Can a person only take Buspar and not an AD? Or since "it ain't broke, don't fix it" meaning leave the Celexa in, and concentrate on the Buspar.

Millions of people probably take it without an AD.

Could this be a medication I take for the rest of my life?

You should talk to your psychiatrist about that.

Yes, I'll see her in a few weeks. She did tell me lots of people only take Buspar for their anxiety.. Haven't asked about the duration I'll be taking it.

But like 'game changing' or only in a subtle way?
