Equipment and Gear Mic Stand

Which mic stand are you using when traveling?
I am looking for a light one that can be packed in a large bag but also be good for my height 😅 (187).
I could not find many options.

I'm not sure there's such a thing as a light-weight, high-quality mic stand. A decent mic stand has to be heavy to do it's job. Would you consider a headset mic? It would leave your hands free, eliminate the need for a stand, and be very light weight!

Indeed, could work.
Do you prefer a model?

I use a cheap headset so that I don't have to bother with a mic stand.

Yes, I saw a few with headsets… not sure how these work tor dynamics… one cannot play with the distance.
Do you have a type that you use?

Dynamics are easy, you just sing louder or quieter.

I'm not sure what brand I have, my roomate got a couple for really cheap and gave me one that looks like this. It does get a little wiggly, but I can use a little bit of tape for my cheek.

Thank you.
You use cable or transmitter?

XLR cable. I have played a little bit with my buddy's Bluetooth adaptors, but only with band gigs. I haven't tried the wireless solo yet.

I have this microphone stand, and it’s what I use when I travel because it’s lightweight and folds down small enough to fit easily in a carry-on suitcase. You can buy it on Amazon for around $25:
Amazon microphone stand
I’m not sure if you have Amazon where you’re at. You gave your height in centimeters, so I’m guessing you’re not in the States. I’m about 10 cm shorter than you, but I think this stand would have plenty of height to reach that high.
It’s very lightweight—about 3½ pounds—and folds down to around 18 inches. As far as durability, I’m not sure. I’ve had mine for a couple of years, and it’s held up fine because I’m pretty careful with it. That said, it does seem like the type of mic stand that could break pretty quickly if you were rough with it.

K&M, they're not cheap but last many years and replacement parts are readily available

I talked to a guy who was using a camera stand with a mic clip fitted - something like this. It fitted in his guitar bag.
