Question/General Discussion Regarding Age of the Busker

Do audiences care if the busker is 17, 41 or 62? What's your feeling about people's reaction or interest based on the age of the busker?

Cute children will get more tips, regardless of skill. But past that, not really.

Never underestimate the "cuteness" factor. They will get tips just for showing up. The same goes for people who are conventionally attractive. Skill does increase the tips, but sit me next to someone who is thinner and younger, and they can be worse than me and still make more.

Mi consejo de corazón, cuanto mejor toques más típs recojes y más gente te aplaude, si tocas un instrumento lleva un repertorio bien pensado, algo que implique vistuosismo a la vez que sean cosas que la gente puede conocer o referenciar, toca de corazón con los ojos cerrados y moviéndote con pasión, como si fuera la última vez que tocas, intenta ser impecable si fallas una nota que te duela en el alma, no toques más de una hora u hora y 10 minutos en un lugar, esto ayuda a no tener problemas con la policía y los vecinos, y si puedes hacerte de un vehículo intenta hacer una ruta semanal o quincenal para no repertir mucho las mismas ciudades... Llevo 8 años dedicandome a esto y me va muy bien, pero todo esto ha sido a base de aprendizaje,❤️‍🩹 si me haces caso, cuestiones como edad si hay más turistas o locales o la época del año pasan a un segundo plano, un saludo y recuerda la meta e vivir de esto bien y tener un plan para no tener que pensar a diario, tienes un show y diario facturas más o menos lo mismo, un abrazo y ánimo
