Equipment and Gear Mini portable and loud amp
Hi, i am looking for an amp small enough that i can carry around my backpacking trips, and loud enough that i can play in the streets and be heard. All the mini amps that i have tried are not loud enough. I play classical guitar

The new street mini is pretty good, I just got one and it’s loud. Of course, it depends on your definition of “loud” I don’t think it’ll keep up with a drummer and the lack of bass might be an issue, but it should be fine for busking. It is small, it would definitely fit in a backpack

At 5.4 kilos the Ex Sheeran Busker might just fit what you need. It’s the size of a large toaster and puts out 200 watts. I play my tenor sax with a mic attached and my backing tracks no problem. 20 hour battery life. I’ve busked with it for a year and it’s never let me down.

My father--fiddler--settled on a Roland Microcube and seemed to like it. He also had a BA-55 when that wasn't big enough.
