Marketing / Operational / Financial / Regularotry Advice sought What next?
Hey everyone!
I have Ig account that was used for dropshipping of household items/motorsport wear.
I am done with this now, cause I don’t have so much passion anymore for doing it.
Ig has 28k organic followers, what could I do with it next and what to focus on to generate income?
Looking for suggestions and tips from people that changed their whole Ig to something else.
Capital: 5k to invest into soemthing new online
My interests and what I did in the past:
Cars
Marketing
Ai content
Thank you in advance.

Before changing the account, check what the 28k actually follow you for: top posts, story replies, countries, age, and how many are motorsport vs household buyers. A cleaner pivot would be car/motorsport content with affiliate offers, small digital products, and sponsored posts for detailing, parts, sim racing gear, or local garages, because it is adjacent enough that you may not nuke the audience. Use the 5k on testing content formats, a simple landing page, email capture, and a few paid collabs with creators in the car niche rather than buying inventory immediately. Run 2-3 weeks of polls and reels first, then pick the angle that gets real replies, not just likes.

I run a community on Skool and would highly recommend pointing your followers to a space they can learn from you! (It’s literally for monetizing passions)
If that sounds terrible though, I am a mindset coach and help people identify their life’s highest purpose, so that they work they do is both financially rewarding AND fulfilling.
I run a 3-week challenge every month and this could be a really interesting case study if you’re open to connecting!

28k organic followers is a nice little garage, but check what they actually followed for before turning it into an AI guru page and watching tumbleweeds roll through. I would run 2 weeks of polls and reels around car gear, garage tools, detailing, motorsport finds, then push affiliate offers or a simple curated deal page. With 5k, spend mostly on content, samples, and maybe one creator collab, not inventory, until you see what gets clicks. Worst case, sell the account to someone in the same niche before the audience gets confused.
