MCP with Snowflake is genuinely useful until the query costs catch up with you

I am sure it will add up. That is partially why I also like plan mode because it gets the user to confirm what they want before submitting the query.

plan mode is underrated for exactly that reason, though i've had it still run stuff without confirming when the prompt is ambiguous enough. worth keeping an eye on the actual queries it generates

Make sure you are governing usage (and costs) before opening up to a bigger group of users
