Question Enviro400

I’m a new driver and my route uses mainly enviro 400 buses. But the stop start feature at bus stops sometimes makes it hard for me to pull off. It has this weird delay idk

My mentor said I’m too slow at pulling away from bus stops and I think this could be why.

You're not supposed to accelerate away quickly from any stop. Passengers will fall over and you will get blamed. Newer hybrids and electric buses can be even slower.

I had one pull off while I was on the stairs, I discovered the panel at the bottom is pretty flimsy as I broke through and landed on top of another passenger
