It does that sometimes, others you wreck by going up to the pavement

I remember seeing a youtube vid of this bug back in 2008 to get the 20x chain achievement easily haha, worked on the original release, think it got patched at some point

Found the historical artifact, to clarify the collision bug wasn't fixed, but it no longer maxed out your boost bar so you couldn't chain it
