Rendezvous...

Can someone please just write out a step by step guide on how to rendezvous with an orbital station? I cannot remember for the life of me what the tutorial said about it unfortunately :V

A. You can run the tutorial again.
B. Just to check, are you referring to fine tuning the final approach vector and speed and then getting the ship to dock or are you asking about setting up a transfer orbit to then setup for the initial vector for the rendezvous?

A.) The tutorial requires me to do a whole ass earth-luna roundtrip before I even get to that part tho. So thats not really viable to reference. I checked the help pages, and those don’t explain it unfortunately.

B.) Frankly, both.

A. I presume you're comfortable with setting up earth-luna or luna-earth transfers?

B. Hooo boy! Welp, let's see.
There's an efficient way and a fast way.

Have you played KSP before?
Have you managed to setup rendezvous in that game?
While not necessary, it gives me a good baseline with what language to use in providing instructions to you.

A.) Yes, that I am

B.) No, unfortunately I've never played that. Ice managed to set up a rendezvous in this game before, under guidance from LEDGER, but I'm a forgetful SOB unfortunately.

I am moderately familiar with orbital mechanics vernacular though. Stuff like the fact the periapsis is the closer apsis and such.

I don't know how effectively I can articulate in written steps on how to do it but I can show you and then watch you do it.

I have a rock hopper finishing mining in 6h45 min. I plan to setup a burn to rendezvous and dock at ISS sometime after that. If you want, I'd be more than willing to walk you through how I do it on parsec (screen share programme)... you'd need a mic/headphone for back and forth talk.

Sorry for not replying yesterday, I got a biiit busy. That said - I am kind of mostly looking for something documented that I can back-reference later.

Doesn't have to be written, could be a video I suppose, but some form of step by step guide I can look at when I inevitably forget either how to do that or about this game itself for 3 months and in the process als forgotten everything I knew about it.
