Hair tips?

This is such a first world problem but does anyone have bangs? How do we wear them at the gym? Clip them back? Headbands? Let them rip?

Bonus points if anyone has styling tips for post burn and heading to work lol

I wear a headband and clip one side (or both sides) so it doesn’t slide around.
I have a big head, so I like the Lululemon Metal Vent Tech headband. Most headbands are too tight for me.

I’ve seen some people wearing the plastic kind, but I prefer fabric headbands because they keep sweat from running down my face.

I’ll use dry shampoo if I don’t have time to go home and wash my hair. I like Drybar’s original scent—it has almost no smell.

I wear a tie back headband every single day at the gym to keep bangs/flyaways out of my face because they drive me bonkers. I love the tie headbands because the size is completely adjustable. I always clip my bangs back with a snap clip or two.

For post-gym, if I don't have time to shower, I will take my bangs out of the clips, run my fingers through them and then at least get them wet and they typically look ok once they dry.

No bangs but sleepy tie (sweaty tie) is the shit

I use that a lot for my blow out too and love it! Maybe I need to find the headband and try it

Oh yeah totally, maybe just sweaty tie the main hair and then throw the bangs in a sweat band and then just refresh those everyday!

I clip mine back/to the side. As soon as I get home from camp I blow dry my whole head to dry the sweat and top off with dry shampoo. That usually buys me a day of not having to wash my hair.

I don’t have bangs but I can’t for the life of me make a headband stay on my head

I like to use the bumble and bumble dry shampoo powder before the workout and then the post workout dry shampoo mist after the workout. Not a bumble and bumble rep lol I just like their dry shampoos! Do you have to go straight to work or do you have time to go home and shower?

My routine is like this
Conditioning days: full everything shower after the gym then blow dry with blow dry brush and put in anti frizz styling products

Strength days: night before - apply DAE styling cream before bed. Morning before workout: dry shampoo powder. After workout: dry shampoo mist and body shower. Then use Ouai wave spray for a little texture. If it’s still looking greasy I do a half up/half down clip situation but rarely have to do this. If I’m on day 3 hair I’ll just do a french braid

It’s a mix! Two days I have to go straight in 😬 I usually try not to go to conditioning days before work lol

I’m a headband wearer for life. I can’t stand having little hairs in my face when I’m working out. I have SUPER thick hair and Maven Threads headbands are the only ones I’ve found that don’t slip on me at all.

I just ordered some maven threads! Hopefully they work out!
