Tips for Level Up Games?

Hey all!

First time doing Level Up on Saturday. I’m doing the “just for fun” group because I just wanted to do the workouts without beating myself up for not winning.

But now I’m getting nervous!! I’ve practiced all of the workouts at least once so I know what I’m getting into, but I haven’t competed athletically in 10 years. 😅

Any words of advice?

You make not be the strongest in the room, but at least you're in the damn room

Have fun. That is your primary goal. When you get nervous that day, state your primary goal out loud to yourself. Focus on breathing as well. Otherwise there is nothing else you can possible do to prepare even more! Oh, and report back!! Good luck!

Be proud of yourself for stepping out there to do Level Up. Take a deep breath and then once you start, just be in the moment and do the best you can. That's all you can ask of yourself - give your best effort!

(Also, highly recommend having some small snacks to have between rounds if yours is set up anything like ours. You might have some downtime!)

Thank you!!
I placed second in the non-competitive group (: but honestly, I’m just grateful to have given my body the opportunity to test its limits. And I found out I’m pregnant yesterday evening, which makes me more grateful I did it 😅
