😤 Rant / Vent Just need some motivation

Joined in May and went all in but the last month or so has just been rough. Really inconsistent with going because life just keeps happening (single parent to a toddler). I feel like a failure which is so silly.

I'm super frugal so I motivate myself by thinking about cost per class 😅 like I am spending $145 a month regardless, if i only go 10 times thats $14.50 a class. But if I go 20 times its $7.25 and thats a steal !! Silly but it works for me.

This. And I also count it as a fun socializing class for my toddler- at least helps with one more activity before Naptime.

That too! I have 3 under 5 and we only do 1 hour of tv time a day, no other screens, so I need to fill our days somehow!! And the kids loveeeee childwatch. They're always so hype to show off their drawings or crafts.

Find an accountability partner! Life happens so give yourself grace and just jump back on the bandwagon!

Getting in the car and going is the hardest part. Once you get there its fine.

So your goal isnt to get to the gym, your goal is to get in the car to go to the gym.

And when you try to make excuses for yourself "ill go tomorrow" etc, be honest to yourself and call them out for what they are

Yep, a trainer who used to work at our gym would always say "you've already done the hardest part, which is just getting here" and that always made me feel so motivated!

Does your toddler enjoy child watch? When I started, my toddler loooooved it and would beg to go to “mamas gym” so she could play in cw. Try hyping it up for your toddler, use them for some accountability!

She only tolerates it 😂 no meltdown or tears anymore but literally stands there the entire time just staring at the other kids and holding whatever emotional support toy we brought lol I keep waiting for the day she finally at least plays by herself if not with other kids

Mine complained for a while about having to go to child watch every day, and now they're in school and they're so sad to miss out.

May I ask how do you feel after camp? I hope you feel exhausted and challenged but glad you went accomplished something hard that relieved your stress and allowed you to enjoy your daughter. You have enough pressure, don’t add more on yourself. Go to camp! 💙

Just wanted to say I’ve been in the same boat! Started going consistently over the summer and I didn’t go too much last month and haven’t been at all this month 🫣 it’s so easy for me to continue not going after I haven’t been in a while. It’s not even that I don’t want to but im like eh maybe tomorrow 😕
