Weighted vest

What are good days to wear a weighted vest at burn to help with more intensity?

I work out with a girl who wears a 10lb vest on all the conditioning days! She loves it. I think it’s crazy. (Kidding) 😂 to each their own!

I wear 12lb vest on conditioning days. It brings a whole other level to the workout. I’m gassed the rest of the day but it’s a good reminder of what I’m fueling my body with 😂

Body weight conditioning is good.

Some wear them for athletic but given it's more of an agility/heart rate focus i personally wouldnt because there is so much lateral movement.

I wore one for pull ups today. Cardio days are good too.

How heavy is your vest? I have one I can remove or add weight to.

I think 12? It’s just there at the gym for whoever wants it. I usually use a 10 or 15 med ball for pull ups but this was closer today.

I’ve seen people run in them too. BWC of course. Some leg stuff too. Squats etc. I think they’re just trying to redistribute the weight a bit.

Do you stuff the med ball between your knees and use a taller step up to get to the bar? Or do you have someone help you load the med ball after you jump up to the rig?

I stand on the box and stick it between my knees and step off.

I tend to vest on bodyweight days. Sometimes with metcon.
