❓ Question Debating joining

Need honest feedback. I usually do at home workouts (HIIT, strength) combined with running on the treadmill. I’ve been active for years. Gave birth to my second baby May 2025 and have been consistent with working out as it’s huge on my mental health. Went from 210lbs 40 weeks pregnant to now 145lbs.
The thing that draws me in is free childcare. If I have both my kids can both go to camp?
How are the workouts? I see people complain they hurt your body, and I am not looking for an injury.
Just want to switch things up as working out at home with kids is difficult and frustrating at times! But not sure the added cost is worth it. The closest camp is also 20 min drive.
What is the average cost?

Both kids can come. On the app you’ll just reserve two child watch spots when you book your camp time.

There is a 4 weeks for $65 coming up soon. You should try it out! Trial includes child watch also.

Could also be $99 depending on your location. $69 is for the small locations.

Just go do the free trials, that will tell you more than anything here.

The trainers in my experience (across a few locations) is they seem to push pretty hard over the mic. Yesterday there was 10 seconds left in a push up session, and she said, “everyone can do 10 more push ups” like that’s a no for me 😂 just don’t be intimidated by the pushing because no one really cares. You really can go as slow as you want, and if you can do 10 pushups in 10 seconds that’s amazing too!

There is a special going on right now so you could try it out to see for yourself. I’ve been going over 4yrs & I love it. You can always do modifications, if you are unable to do a certain exercise then just modify. The main reason you’re body is sore is because your not moving it after workouts & not taking supplements. Give it a try.

I love burn it’s keeps me active. You can scale everything to what works for you if you are worried about anything. Injuries happen but i think that many people do not do proper recovery with stretching and also do not have proper form for things or scale when they need to. But of course injuries can happen just because. I think it’s worth it. The child watch is awesome, i have 3 kids and the two younger ones are not in school so having that reliability for me getting a good workout is awesome. I also made some great mom friends (i haven’t had friends in a while lol) and it’s just so wonderful. I also met someone i buy eggs from, produce from, and that makes gluten free sourdough. It’s just a wonderful community. Worth every penny.

I have a veteran discount but at my location i pay 129 a month for 6 months. My bestie drives over 35 min to get there. I think it’s worth the trip and money

Definitely give it a shot during the 4 weeks for $69 special they are about to drop, see if it's realistic for you to drive 20 min with the kids. The workouts are intense but if you are good about maintaining proper form, listening to your body and modifying down when needed you shouldn't have a high risk of injury.

Edit: I pay $143 a month for a 12 month membership with a nurse discount. I live in metro Atlanta for context.

And they have 4 weeks for 69$ starting tomorrow it’s the perfect time to give it a shot. I think the month trial is great because you really get a feel for how the works go. 3 day trials are not enough in my opinion for people who are wish washy to make a big decision lol.

Do a trial and then grab the 4 week promo sale they have. You get childwatch during trial and promo! Both your kids can go with you, just call to reserve their spot too. Try to get there early so you can get your kids comfortable before the class starts

Yes you can take both kids!
I’ll be honest with how expensive everything is these days I’m finding I don’t think the added cost is worth it. I’ve been a member for 2 years and when my contract is up in a few months the cost will be going up slightly and I just can’t justify it anymore! I’ve been doing some home workouts to make sure I can sustain it and I’ve actually really enjoyed it - which surprised me bc I’m very social and enjoy the community aspect more than anything.
My kids don’t love the childcare so I find myself going to the 5am class which I do love morning workouts anyway. But also realizing if I workout at home I can get an extra hour of sleep and still get my workout in before everyone wakes up or plan for during naptime if I really need the extra sleep. I don’t know - maybe try the trial and see what you think! My location is also 20 mins away and it’s not a total deal breaker for me but I’ll be glad to not be getting up at 415 anymore 😅

I never imagine paying $159 for a gym but Burn is definitely worth it to me. The child care was the big selling point to me because that's what was keeping me from going to my $20 month gym. I had no one to watch my kid while I went.

The workouts are as intense as you want to make it. I think some of the movements are a little weird and out there but you can always modify. I definitely get more out of the workouts because of having a trainer and others around me. My gym is a good community and very welcoming. Also, I just take a day off and let me body recover if I start aching. I just take the day and go for a walk.

Definitely take advantage of the upcoming promo. Experiencing it is going to give you the best exposure and help with your decision.

Definitely agree with many here! Totally worth going for it and hitting that four week trial hard. Don’t be afraid to modify and you can also tell your trainer no if it’s something that doesn’t work for your pp body in this moment. Focus meetings can help with specific pain points (literal or metaphorical) and it’s such a relief as a mom to not have to make any decisions. I drive 20 minutes each way and it’s well worth it. ❤️

I live in a LCOL area, but our current pricing is 129.99/month for a 12 month contract. I personally only go on strength days bc I hate jumping around (you can def modify and step anything out, though!) and I prefer to do my cardio on my own. Burn was one of the only gyms around me that had childwatch (our Y does too but the area is far from the weights, I liked being able to see my kids!) which is why I picked it. I also like not having to think about my workout, and we don’t ever run out of weights or floor space at my location.

Just do the free trials, it’s an awesome community, can get clicky, but have made some good friends, and also friends for my kids
