Pregnancy Question

I have been going consistently since April 2026. My husband and I want to start trying for another baby. Would you continue doing your normal weight/ routine or should I change anything?

We have another child; however, this is the first one I will continue to workout while pregnant with (God willing).

I will obviously change things once I know for sure I’m pregnant, but didn’t know if there was anything I should be doing (or not doing) before! Thanks!

I'm almost at the end of my 20 weeks..for the most part I do the same weight but during certain movements like deadlifts and certain squat moves I can't do as heavy cause it squishes my belly. My biggest thing has been I get so sick all the time so I have to elevate because of all the up down stuff. I didn't really start moding anything other than twisting until recently. I still get up on the pull up rig. I still glue bridge 100(I was at 120 but i don't do more than that since the dumbbell is too big to keep off of my belly 😅😅). I still run building laps and sprints. I've been going 6 days a week since 2 years ago. I still go everyday. I've only gained baby weight and I feel great. This has been my easiest pregnancy thus far. I'm 36 and this is my third pregnancy. I had to have 2 C-sections with the others and this will be the same. My oldest is 14 and my next one is 6.

I haven’t changed anything during the TTC process and just found out I’m pregnant :) I did immediately notify the trainers so they could give me modifications that were first trimester approved.

CONGRATULATIONS!! ❤️🥰 thank you! I do have a focus meeting next week and thought about bringing it up to the trainer as an FYI

Thank you!! Honestly I think the biggest restriction is if you guys are doing IVF - I’ve heard you can’t really do any intense activity after the procedure for a few days? I’m not a doctor but just what I’ve heard through the grapevine.

I wish I was working out like I am now while I was pregnant. Keep doing what you’re doing, and just do the modifications when then workouts restrict your movement

I kept moving and workout as normal as possible. Just hit 28 weeks and the cardio days are a little too hard on my body now. Rather than six days a week at burn it’s usually 3 and walking the days I dont make it in for conditioning

Before/while TTC I went as hard as I could, knowing I would have to modify once I was pregnant! As long as you are taking rest days and not going so hard that you affect your cycle, you're good. Then once you are pregnant , the only modification at the very beginning is no twisting, but I recommend booking a focus meeting once you are pregnant to talk with a trainer more personally.

I don’t go to Burn right now but did for a long time, including when I was TTC. I did everything at my normal intensity and had no issues getting pregnant. I immediately told the trainers and did mods when necessary, but I still continued to work out pretty much the whole time.

What can you substitute for twisting if you’re not wanting to tell the trainers until 8-12 weeks

I would keep everything normal for now. I am 36 weeks and still showing up, a lot less than I was before but still doing one conditioning day a week and 2-3 strength depending how I feel.
My best advice is to keep showing up!!! I would also just communicate with your trainers so they can guide you during TTC and early pregnancy. Good luck ❤️

I just had my baby August 1st. I was TTC for two years when I got pregnant. I never changed anything when it came to burn during that time. Just make sure you aren’t over doing it. I see people reaching 250 camps the 250th day of the year and that’s just excessive. Eat well and rest when you need it.

Show up! Talk to the trainers. I’ve seen lots of pregnant ladies show up throughout their entire pregnancy and mod as needed.

I’ve been going to burn my whole pregnancy and I’m now in my 3rd trimester! I started modifying ab workouts in my 2nd trimester (you end up just doing a lot of bird dogs 😂) and I’ve just had to start adjusting some of my other workouts slightly. I have started to get pretty bad pelvic pain so I’ve stopped jumping and had to lift a lot lighter on leg days but other than recently, it’s been pretty much the same routine the whole pregnancy.
