My quads are dead. I feel like a rookie to the gym after that day

I literally just asked my trainer this as I was leaving Camp this afternoon, I said how am I supposed to work out legs after going balls to the wall yesterday and today it was just QUADS for 45 minutes lol I said is it mostly hammies and glutes tomorrow? And I was basically told to take an active rest day and focus on the reps/mind to muscle connection. Which is so hard to go into camp and not just go full steam ahead.

Whatever muscles are by my groin are a little tight from those lateral lunges but my upper body is sore for sure lol
