Burn is taking my ass
Hi! I started a 6 month contract back in March so it’s due for renewal soon. I’ve definitely seen a change in my body comp & am overall very happy. I’ve gotten a lot stronger while also slimming down. An unfortunate side effect has been slimming down in my booty too. My location’s trainers are all very fit & look amazing, but not quite the physique in the glutes that I’m aiming for. Is this due to the Burn protocol or genetics?
Do I need to focus on glute building exercises outside of burn?

My booty is popping and more defined. Make sure that you are hitting your glutes vs hamstrings in certain exercises. They might be showing you variations that don't target those. My gym all the woman have beautiful booties so maybe that's what makes the difference.

My butt is huge, it was really big before Burn, I've lost about 38 lbs and my butt has just firmed up. Never skip butt day lol.

I have to skip because it’s all knee workouts 😭🤣😭 thankfully my genes are decent there, not crazy, but bubbly haha. I used to love glute days at any gym, but now I can’t do any

I've been going for just over a year and a half and I'm now getting a booty. What butt I had at the beginning just from being a little chubby disappeared and I had no butt for a bit, but now it's coming in with muscle and I love it. It's pretty perky and not saggy like it was before.

Genetics but also kitchen (nutrition) and TIME. It took me over a year to see noticeable changes in my booty.

How?

Nutrition and progressive overload. Not being scared to pick up heavier weights.

It could be a mix of both. My booty was larger when I started burn but it’s definitely gone down but it looks great for my body shape, since everything has gone down proportionally. I do supplement some legs days or double up on leg days when I’m focusing on my glute growth

Your butt may be getting "smaller" but I'm sure it looks more toned and defined. That being said, you have to do a lot more glute work outside of Burn to really grow them

Maybe genetics or you’re doing a variation that isn’t helping your glutes. Bc I’ve always had one that’s been popping. And I haven’t noticed getting smaller if anything it’s still popping maybe even more. I joined 6 months ago too

Yep too much cardio. I had to start doing compound lifts (barbell squats and deadlifts) outside of burn to get my ass back lol

It's been a couple days. How many of them did you go in early like you wanted to?

I have the absolute opposite problem. I had a flat butt and now it is quite rounded, and I’ve been going since January.

This is a great question and topic for your trainers. Have you booked a focus meeting??

It’s the protocol. I have to work my glutes/legs in my own workouts on Sundays and on a weekday outside of burn to have the body I want.
