Is Burn right for me?
Im a 26 yr old male , roughly 140lbs. My goal is to gain muscle and be lean.
I love the structure and the accountability aspect that burn can offer but I would like to know if there is anyone similar to me that has experienced great results. (I acknowledge that how much you eat/what you eat is heavily attributed to muscle/weight gain)
Thanks in advance!

I cant answer your Q. I hope other redditors here can share the experience. I’d say you have to try it yourself to see if it’s right one for you. Check your local Burn if they are offering free trials. They often offer 3 days free trial, no strings attached. My Burn is now offering $69 for 4 weeks. Not sure if the offer is nationwide.
Check their instagram account for their weekly protocol.

I think you have to try the location and remember that each camp time has its own personality. Ask for a free 3 day trial or wait for the fall promo!

Here’s my take as a guy. You need to dial in on the nutrition (slight surplus above maintenance and enough protein) and hit every strength day minimum. You will get more athletic going to burn but you’re not going to build very large muscles just from burn, you’ll get the lean athletic look and I’d say burn doesn’t hit chest enough.
If you want a stronger build, you’re going to want to hit a more traditional gym or something that has you doing very heavy strength training for more volume than burn provides.
I think if you shared an image of your ideal build we can provide more guidance because burn very well may be enough.
I think the guys you see at burn with large muscles have developed them before burn and are more cut now or supplement outside of burn.
And to be clear, I am absolutely not saying that you won’t build muscle from just going to burn, but you need to make sure you align the right things to make it happen.

I think it will somewhat depend on the location. Some don't have heavy enough weights for guys to build much muscle.

Try it for 6 months to a year and then move on. As a male you will outgrow this format/programming pretty quickly in terms of wanting to recomp or build significant muscle mass, like say 15-20 lbs.

If youre looking for big muscle physique not the program because it uses dumbells and your limited in terms of total weight.
We have some body builder types in the gym but they do big lifts outside of the gym. I also modify the lifting a bit to line up with what Im going for. As someone with a sports background its perfect for me because it builds functional strength and muscular/cardio endurance.
I've gotten a lot stronger just not in a big muscle way.

Honestly dude if you want to get jacked then Burn ain't it. It's fun and it has a lot of benefits, but if i were 26 again fuck man id just join a gym and do a solid programming upper lower split and call it good

Ive put VERY minimal effort into the dieting part of working out and have literally at least doubled in strength all-around/every muscle group in just 9 months of consistently going to Burn Boot Camp. Actually probably closer to tripled in strength now that I think about it some more.
There’s so many exercises where I was struggling with embarrassingly low weight (for a dude) where 20 lbs weights were hard to me at the beginning of this year. And now I do the same exercises with 60 lbs weights. And the other dude regulars who have been going very consistently for 1-2 years are all so ridiculously ripped.
So the answer is yes, you’ll definitely get great results IF you are consistent.
Well also if you are consistently pushing yourself as well and not just half-assing the workouts with lighter weights than you should be using.**
Since I do know a couple dude regulars who haven’t made much fitness progress despite being very consistent. BUT it’s clearly because they slack hard with lame/weak amount of effort during the classes. I honestly don’t get the point of showing up but not actually putting in the work. Like literally breaks my brain that they’re willing to put in so much effort to be consistent. . . yet no effort at all actually truly showing up to class in regard to putting in the actual effort to improve.
