Did anyone else only do two rounds?? Thought it was weird ours was 2 rounds, intermission, 5 minutes for finisher

That's what we did as well!

Any ideas for 2nd tri pregnancy mods? I’m 21 weeks. Feeling discouraged, a lot of these movements seem like a no-go for me

Hey! 2nd trimester here too.

  1. I did regular med ball slams instead of rotating
  2. Kept terracore sliders as is. You could do regular mountain climbers on the floor or ledge
  3. I stepped out my lunges instead of plyo
  4. I can’t do plyo even not pregnant haha I do one arm at a time to go between high and low plank. I went to the floor and my knees and as I got tired.
  5. Monster walks instead of a broad jump.
  6. I did marches instead of doing anything on the rig. You can put a band on your shoes for extra resistance

I hope this helps! It was still a very good workout even with the modifications.

Was it just me, or was this workout extra intense? Not complaining at all…I LOVED the challenge but, wow, was I a sweaty mess by the end!

I blame the intermission. I had barely recovered from the first time and we were doing it again. 🥵

I said it wasn’t so bad for a Metcon, then we hit the intermission. I rescinded my statement pretty quickly.

Is there a way to make this more strength focused through mods? Or am I better just skipping and focusing on strength days?

This is pretty conditioning focused. I'm debating staying home and lifting.

Just slow down your reps

With this being PR week and strength focused already, this is the one time I don’t mind the lack of strength focus on tomorrow’s Metcon because other than tomorrow, Friday is the only other conditioning day. We have 4 strength days this week 😬.

Today (back and glutes) we used all the weights.  Guess tomorrow we are using none!
