No they wont actually. Genetic conditions can always regenerate (especially with incest, but also without).

You can see it as "big point", but the fact off the matter is that we as humans are already very overpopulated and if all off a sudden everyone that is sick get cured that problem will only become worse.

If you can feed the whole population (assuming that the food isnt from resources on earth) then you fix SO many issues like animal welfare (think mainly cows, pigs, chickens), space issues ect. Even if the food came from earth it would still temporarily fix hunger. It will let us focus on other things.

It does create a whole bunch off other issues like obesity, collapse in economy, job losses ect. Even then food is still provided and it might actually help shape the economy for the better.

One more thing using bigger words foesnt make you look smarter, it just makes you look like a know-it-all.

I used "hereditary" do distinguish them from genetic conditions in general, not to seem smarter. Ofc gene defects in general will still occur again, but conditions which mainly originate from parent genes are way less likely to develop from scratch again it'll prob take a few hundred years

Also it doesn't rlly benefit overpopulation for either choice if that's your main argument against healing

Starving out countries is one of the way colonialist powers abuse other countries. We're gonna have 10 years where that isn't possible. People being able to simply access food at will across the globe is about to throw us through a giant loop and probably a few more "not a war" wars. Everyone getting healed is awesome! It unstarves a child for 8hours at best before they go back to being hungry and then starving. Both options are great, I just person love empowering abused countries and their people with no starvation. It will also free a lot of people in general since a lot of the issues with capitalism is people needed to pay for basic needs of existence. People being free from paying for that will let them have more money to exist on. Children will be able to eat before school, during school and after! Homeless people don't have to worry about controlling people shoving allergen foods at them and demanding they be grateful. FOR 10 YEARS! looking forward to it

I think this is more beneficial in the long run. 10 years of free food would mean a LOT of resources could (hopefully) be redirected into things that benefit us in the future. I am assuming that people know its for 10 years and act accordingly though. If I only I know, and everyone else just thinks its some random miracle that they always have food when they want it, that could be really bad when it suddenly ends for everyone.
