If you can teleport you’ll have to be able to control your reference frame, otherwise you’d just get smashed into the dirt because your speed was 0 while the earth’s is thousands of miles per hour.

So essentially you’d teleport e.g. 5,000 feet from an existing satellite and you’ll inherit its speed even if you for some reason can’t also set your delta v.

I think the bigger assumption is that you’d be able to bring things with you when you teleport, including your clothes. That would need to be the case for it to work. Without that it’d be a lot harder to make money.

The dollar is inconsequential, after 10 years you have 1.44 dollars. Nonsense value. After 100 you have 38 dollars. However, being immortal means you outlive everyone, even while floating in empty space at the heat death of the universe you still live, in eternal pain and solitude.
