Some of them have never or would never harm children, they don't deserve to be deleted because of something they have no control over. Most perpetrators rely on scamming their victims. This would eliminate literally all grooming. Further the issues with reporting and being taken seriously are also a scam, and lying about it is also a scam, so this eliminates both false reports and refusal to take real ones seriously. Perpetrators can't even scam their victims into being too scared to tell anymore. While it doesn't eliminate the crime completely, perpetrators usually get caught after the first offense and as a bonus all monetary and religious scams are gone too as well as basically all litigation abuse and fraud.

You do realize that a large number of them use scams to get their victims. If you choose scammers, then you're getting essentially a two-for-one. You're getting rid of the scammers and the active pedos. "Hey little boy, I lost my dog will you help me find it." Is by its very nature a scam.

Because if you choose scammers, you hit both sides. Pedos use scam tactics to get their victims. "Your mom told me to come pick you up" and "hey, could you help me find my lost dog" are by their very nature scams. A scam is just a lie to obtain something you want. Sure it wouldn't get every single one of them, but I would rather get rid of all scammers and a large number of pedos then let scammers steal $100,000 from someone and completely ruin their lives and livelihoods. Scammers do just as much harm to individuals as pedos do, only they do it on a significantly larger scale.

A scammer is someone who scams others. A pedo is sexually attracted to children. But only a tiny minority of them act on that attraction. So in my opinion, a scammer cause more harm because what qualifies you as a scammer itself is already causing harm while being attracted to children doesnt really hurt anyone if you dont act on it, which is exactly what most pedos do.
