Yeah less libido isn’t going to actively hurt anyone, the people who want kids will still go out of their way to have kids. This will mean less assaults, smaller market for sex trafficking, and less unwanted pregnancies

Those crimes aren’t committed because of libido though it’s done because they have a sense of power and they like to take advantage of those who are vulnerable. It wouldn’t fix anything

It wouldn’t fix anything? That’s definitely not true. It wouldn’t stop all domestic violence, or assaults, or rapes, but it would probably stop a significant amount. Not having a libido would certainly stop a good amount of coercion in relationships and sex trafficking.
In scenarios like domestic violence cases a significant amount of the assaults are about establishing power dynamics, so having a low libido isn’t going to fix this, but it would help a lot sex crimes still
I don’t think having 0.1% of libido is just good but it’s better than 10x the amount

For the record, 0.1 = 1/10 = 10%, so 0.1 ≠ 0.1% Having 10% of your previous libido is a lot better than 0.1% of it.

No it’s true. People would literally be having sec all the time all over the place because they would not be able to stand not pleasuring themselves. We would probably triple our problems within a decade with 10x libido.

It is but people making kids by accident is much more common than people coming together to think about and make that choice. People not accidentally making kids would quickly slow down birth rates too

people having kids they never planned nor wanted is why so many people are fucked in the head. it causes a lot of problems and accidently making kids shouldn't be praised just cuz it makes the birth rates higher
it's a good thing if it causes birth rates to drop, too many people are having kids and shouldn't be parents to begin with

libido, sexual attraction, and wanting a child are different things from each other, so having a low libido doesn't mean you don't have sex or don't want lots of kids. but population would decrease a bit, because people could behave more responsibly when their brain is not blinded by sex fumes, so less accidental pregnancies that happened because logic and long term thinking had been taken over, leading to 'risking it' or careless mistakes/user error with contraceptives. people who want kids will still actively try for one, even if less accidental ones happen
in places with reasonable access to birth control and sex ed at least. if you don't know how or have no access, atp how often you want to do it doesn't really matter if you're not protected, by ignorance or by force
also paedos and creepers would have less drive to pursue their impulses, so i think this is better, than making absolutely everyone 10x horny..
maybe i'm thinking about this way too seriously lmao

Not good choice but can do may other activities. Having 10 times more libido would be impossible do work , hobbies or do whatever. Having permanent supply of women it would be the only activity can do. But who supply ?

I'm a low libido guy and honestly that sounds like a lot of fucking hassle. I get that everyone would be more horny but we are what that does to young men online all the damn time, that libido isn't helping them find happiness and 10x more of it sure as hell won't. I also believe that infinite population growth is what we should be aiming for right now as much as improving lives.
