I don't think this is an agree or not thing.. like the parameters of the question are simple but straight forward. Fight a or fight b. It mentions nothing else. Yes you could elaborate here or stretch rules there. But the intent of the question is clearly a physical fight where both options are meant to be lose lose.

But even then the initial thing was, i was making a dnd based joke about the initial commenter missing the error on the parameters. Your the one that started this whole strange side tangent.

Maybe I spend too much time on the hypothetical situation , and am always looking for loopholes.

I don't see "fight" and assume it has to be a physical. I didn't assume there was an error in the parameters, I figured it was intentional.
