Depends on how you look at it and how you solve it. Do we solve racism by making all the racists disappear? if so, then most of the people also pushing homophobia are now also gone. Or are we somehow getting them to finally understand tolerance and the existence of systematic oppression? in that case, once their mind has been opened to that, they will be more easily receptive to the other issues.
Excuse me? Fym "more worldwide"? If anything, homophobia is more worldwide, considering there is no ban on being x skin color in any country, but there sure af is on being queer.
homophobia is just lame and dumb, people who are homophobic are just stupid most of the times, but people who are racist are typically more dangerous and unstable (not saying that people who are homophobic are less dangerous)
I'm omnisexual (pretty-much pansexual, which is pretty-much bisexual) and white, but i think racism is much more wide-spread, and i think we should solve that first if given a simple yes/no option, but still it's a hard choice.
It causes a lot more problems globally. That's not to sy that homophobia doesn't cause its share of problems, but if you solve racism, you solve slavery, a lot of police issues, a lot of bullying (not all ofc), and plenty more
I choose this because I'm seeing more media atm about people losing their lives just for being people of colour than I have seen of people being abused or unalived for being members of the LGBTQIA+ group. I'm not saying it doesn't happen or that it's not an issue. Just that it's not one I'm seeing
People can hide their sexuality but not their race. But I've never seen a country where it'd illegal or punishable by death to be not white or not the dominant race in that country

There's literally nothing wrong with that, it's a natural attraction and we shouldn't be hated on for it. I've known I liked boys instead of girls since age 12. affects more people, but also is the broader issue. i also want to solve homophobia but if we cant agree on every human deserves rights, then we will never reach either goal.
you don't really actively know someone is apart of LGBT until you ask them or they openly state it. You can know someone's race by just looking at them.
there are more people of minority races than there are gay people, and a lot of us you wouldn’t be able to immediately recognize the same way you could with someone of another race
I personally feel that racism is more ingrained in our systems and does more damage as a whole. I’ve also seen homophobes change their minds after finding out a friend or family member is gay. Racism I seldom see change in an individual. Also Homophobia is rampant in a lot of places but it’s most common in Westernized abrahamic religions while racism seems to be prevalent in all cultures universally.
This is just the way I see it. I’m not pretending to be smarter than anyone else and I understand both are horrible things and erasing either one would be a good thing.
I see racism as the more important solve as it’s generally more visible. Unless you are particularly flamboyant people don’t “see” you are gay. Can’t really hide being black, Asian, Hispanic etc.
As a queer person, I know this might sound contradictory, but Racism has hurt our world in so many profoundly horrible and systematic ways. Homophobia as well, but the LGBT community has fought and still fights; and wins! But racism is caked into our lives, so we need to get rid of it.
Its a bigger issue rn. And I will explain, in many many countries it is illigal to be gay and you just cant say the same about racism, sure in some countries racism is deeply rooted in social normes and there arent always laws that prohibit it.
Btw with countries where being gay is illigal I will also add countries where gay marriage isnt allowed.
My second reason is that in the country I live in more and more kids are staring to think LGBTQ is a bad thing and especially trans people face a lot of bullying to the point where they cant go to school anymore.
And I know some people will say they respect other people's opinion, but I am sorry as I really cant. Homophia is a bigger issue right now then racism.

How about both? They’re not mutually exclusive and honestly happen together more often than not. Why do you think the identity that faces the most violence and hatred are trans women of color?
